Another successful performance at the Melton Road Market. Singing and sunshine – what a combination!
Look out for the Ruddington Community Choir who will be performing, among others, industrial folk songs at a spectacular May Day Bank Holiday event at the Ruddington Framework Knitters Museum. For more details see: http://www.frameworkknittersmuseum.org.uk/whatson_106696.html
What a lovely, sunny day for the James Peacock School Community Carnival. A great turn-out and a great atmosphere, helped along enormously by the Ruddington Community Choir whose unexpected a cappella version of California Dreamin’ was a triumph!! We witnessed an impressive solo debut by Gary Choo who led the choir in ‘One Love’. Well done also to Will Bracha and his (almost) willing assistants for the impromptu samba band.
“HUGE, HUGE, thank you to you all for your support at the JP Carnival yesterday and, indeed, for the fabulous performance. I had many, many positive wonderful comments and we have already been invited back to future events!! I hope you managed to have a look around and enjoy the afternoon also. Thank you again everyone!” Ruth Keen
Singers from the Ruddington Community choir, Mirabile Ensemble and the Lady Bay Community Choir came together to entertain commuters at Nottingham Train Station on Friday 21st December.
Andy Moore, Head of Stations for East Midlands Trains, said: “We wanted to give a thank you to our passengers for their patience and understanding whilst the important improvement work takes place at Nottingham station.”
