As Government guidelines meant that we were unable to perform in our regular venue, Ruddington Methodist Church, we decided that we would move to a new outdoor venue – Bernie’s garden!
Singing in the Rain
Cone rain or shine, we met every week to learn new pieces and to practise more familiar ones. I think you can see from the smiles on our faces just how much we enjoyed singing together again.
In addition to the birds, the squirrel and Bernie’s next-door neighbour we had a special guest. Kari Olsen-Porthouse, leader of West Bridgford Liberty Singers, came and sang with us for a session.
Kari loved Hot Hot Hot so much that she persuaded Bernie to join her on a road trip to Bath where she led a massed choir in Bath.
